The best of the best. I wish more kids knew about him. The reason is back in the 80's and 90's there were cool programs like dick clark specials that had all the footage of all these great singers and now you don't even see those old movies they used to play like Abbott and Costello, Danny Kaye, Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin etc. It's shame kids don't know about these great singer and actors.

Sam was one of the best, no question about that. I have a number of his cd's and I love listening to them. His voice was incredible and is talent for writing simple yet meaninful songs was amazing.

I agree with your comment about kids missing out on so much today. They are inundated with garbage like Miley and Beiber etc. Most have no clue about real talent whether it's musical or comedy/acting.
