I never really watch tv anymore and only seen her perform once or twice but I'm starting to get more into her music so I looked up some pics and was like wow she's fucking gorgeous. And naturally, nothing plastic or phony. |

Give Em What They Love. I love it. That's one of the performances I was talking about. A couple years ago, I think in 2010 she was a part of the Prince tribute the BET Awards. That's the first time I saw her. |

Prince demanded that she be apart of his tribute that year and she performed "Let's Go Crazy." What a nice introduction to her talent for you. I think her performance of "Cold War" @ the Grammys a couple of years ago along side Bruno Mars and what's his name....B.O.B was cool too. All of her performances @ the Oslo Nobel Peace Prize Concert were good, especially her rendition of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back". |

Prince really respects Janelle.. 8-)yes her grammy performance was in 2011 with Bruno Mars and B.o.B it was amazing she received a deserved standing ovation...she is one of the best live performers around..energetic, great voice ( she sounds even better live sign of a real artist)and she doesn't lose a beat while moving constantly on stage..she is really a BEAST of a performer...hope she will perform again at the grammy this year..
she recently introduced Prince at the Billboard awards this year for the icon award..I watched the show only to see that..the rest was terrible... [Edited 9/19/13 13:38pm] |

yes it's definitely worth buying..happy she charted at number 5 with this album by the way :-)but she still deserves more she should have bruno mars success and especially radio airplay because we know that's the problem why she isn't there with him ..she deserves to be a superstar too...

She's exquisite. And it's nice to see a gorgeous brown girl who isn't running around with a blonde weave and bleached skin. I won't name any names. It's refreshing. |

Yea she is classy. She reminds me of the 60s. A classic, old soul vibe about herself. And she's still in her 20s. |
