New Order/Joy Division

Can we just talk about how awesome they are? I've just recently gotten into them and they are definetly one of my favorite bands. I've yet to hear a song I hate by them. Anybody got any favourites? I'll start with a classic:

The recent "Lost Sirens" made me go back and revisit "Waiting for the Sirens' Call" and I have really grown to like it - just as much as all the "classic" New Order releases. My very favorite will always be "Technique" - but I am still a sucker for "Substance" and all those others. I also got into Revenge (Peter Hook's group) too and have also just stumbled upon a two-disc tribute release called "Ceremony." It REALLY makes you appreciate the artistry and longevity of NO! I love 'em!!!

I think "The Perfect Kiss" is just about the PERFECT song. It is crafted just right, with a great harmony and clever lyrics, sentimental undertone, and it is nothing short of brilliant. Excellent choice!

I always loved how they played with the speakers.

THE VIDEO IS HORRIBLE THOUGH lol

I mean they look so damn serious... for 10 minutes they don't crack a smile or anything razz

Perhaps it is just me but I really like Joy Division but really can't get past a few songs from New Order.

Maybe it's the Ian Curtis thing, but I just think the sound from New Order is too clean!!

You can't have a New Order thread without this one:

music Absolutely fantastic song.

This is probably my favorite by Joy Division:

nod

I love this version of the song more than the original:

Ive always loved them. Two of the best and most underrated albums ever made. I listened to The Perfect Kiss for days after my first real kiss lol. Always been one of my favorite songs.
