All this talk about Miley.... Is...Gasp!....making me curious to check out her music. I'm actually considering checking out her album. Have I lost my mind?? This is what the media does to us. It brain washes us. I listened to her new single Wrecking Ball and dare I say it's not bad?! I've definitely heard worse. I'm kind of grossed out by the fact that I'm caving in but oh well. Any Miley fans out there wanna come out of the closet? | |

I stand by Miley's right to shake her Booty & express herself but Lawd knows I'm not buying her music anytime soon...I like the Cyrus family & they've created a Brand & Financial Dynasty but they don't move me like other country/pop families... | |

Well that's the thing, she's not the first to wild out on stage and she won't be the last. I really disliked her VMA performance mainly because of the sticking her tongue out thing she does. What is that? It's so gross! She didn't sound good live either and over all, it was a mess but the 2 singles I've heard are not bad. I'm not claiming to be a fan but i'm not going to trash her either unless she really starts doing things that are just outlandish and attention seeking to keep herself in the press. By the way, how come when Gaga is naked it's art but when Miley is naked it's trash?? Maybe both should keep their clothes on? | |

Gaga has intent and purpose behind everything she produces. She has built a consistent team of collaborative artistic directors around her over the past number of years who get their heads together with her and work out the details for every new project. Miley simply comes across as a little girl who wants to be a star but doesn't really know how or why. She is a puppet whereas Gaga is a puppet master. That's the way it seems to me anyway. But don't let me put you off listening to Mileys music! I think music should be considered separate to the shenanigans we've been seeing  Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss... | |

The media only brainwashes you if you allow it. ********************************************************** The media is very hyprocritical when it comes down to certain celebrities and the labels they give them. To the right you have the media darlings who can pretty much get away with anything and to the left you have the media dumpsters that the media just loves to trash and ridicule. *************************************************************** If you really objectively think about it, EVERY last single female pop star that has been out within the last 5 years (EXCEPT ADELE) wears explicit clothes, wears revealing clothing when they perform, dances provocative and are overly sexual on stage. So I am trying to figure out why is it such a BIG deal that Miley did what she did at the VMA's? I dont support what she did but I just think that if your going to criticize one star then you need to criticize all of them. I just dont feed into the media bullshit because its hyprocritical. You cant tell me that this girl is the only star that deserves to be ridicule when you have stars that sell out arenas all time doing the same thing. | |

I thinkyou are so right! Rihanna practically does everything Miley does and in fact has been doing it longer and no one has anything to say about it. Hell, even Beyonce behaves this way but because Beyonce has a strong voice and likes to play it totally wholesome off stage people are more forgiving about her booty shaking and hip gyrations. How long before Taylor Swift starts doing it? I already noticed she's wearing less clothes than when she first came out. | |
