Thank you, I'm only familiar with the initial song. But "Taxi" sound just as serious
Maybe I'm not paying much attention, but the "bluesy" R&B ballads seem like a lost art these days. I miss its improvisational feel. Makes the dramatic effect more pronounced. | |

Answer songs used to be kinda popular back then. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
