Debra Killings

Debra is mostly known as a session bassist, but she released a couple of gospel albums. She was also in a couple of bands. In one of them, she went under the name "Princess". This is a snippet of a single they released in 1983.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Is this the same Debra Killings who used to work with Dallas Austin's projects from the 1990's?

Not really that familiar with him, but Debra played on records by OutKast & TLC and also sang background vocals on different records too.

Yes, they're one and the same. Dallas produced 3 of the 4 singles from TLC's debut album ("Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg," "What About Your Friends," and "Hat 2 Da Back"). His biggest claim to fame is probably producing virtually all of Boyz II Men's debut album (everything except "Little Things" and "Your Love").
