He apparently was at the Brooklyn screening of Nelson George's "Finding the Funk" documentary-D is interviewed in the doc. Apparently, old boy is not gonna be on the road anymore for awhile-he is gonna be working on finishing the album.

He was in the hospital and had to cancel several dates. no one really knows the deal, but his management said it was "serious."

OOT, now I remember that i'm highly anticipating that Nelson's documentary, isn't it on Kickstarter or something? Hope the project will see the light of the day soon.

didn't it have an Aug 13th release date at one point? hope his hospitalization wasn't drug related and he stays well

Nothing wrong with that on its own right, but you know what that meant when he vanished after "Voodoo".

D'angelo has never been skinny. That is not his natural build. that man loves to eat. That said, he is only 5'6, so he needs to watch his weight.

That's what I was going to say. When he popped back up last year with those slew of concerts, it looked like he had slimmed way down from all of that weight he had gained...but now it looks like he's creeping back up on the scale again.

I think he looks sexy! It's nice to see a man with muscles and some meat on his bones. Too many dudes are going for the thin, wafe look these days.

No one is questioning D's sexy. That never goes away.
