Guitarist Wayne Johnson has always had an interesting approach to composition, and His Jazz /Rock group, The Wayne Johnson Trio always reflected that sense of adventure. They released a number of albums in the 80's and early 90's, and got a lot of sound from three musicians. It was especially kool when they were joined by Lori Perri and her sisters, the GospelJazz/R&B quartert Perri! ... an interesting mix of sounds and styles....and of course constantly shifting time signatures, LOL!! ...
