In some of the recent live video clips that can be found on Youtube he has, if I remember correctly, an Ensoniq sampler from the mid-90s on top of his electric piano. Supposedly from the same era he did his first album. It has a floppy drive and is so low on memory by today's standards that it's silly.

no, the point is how is questlove gonna say what unreleased Prince song "Wally" was about and he never even heard the song....he mentioned that only two people heard the song and he's not one of them so if anything he's going off hearsay.....it was very deragatory to say that wally was Prince admitting to being a sick, manipulative person....like I said....questlove is a compulsive asshole and I dont like em and ill tell em to his arrogant face......

not only that but he thinks that he's the best drummer in the world and he's not humble about his opinions and thinks that he knows everything about Prince......I remember reading how he got mad back in 2002 because he thought that he could play 777-9311 better than john blackwell and how he didnt play at the one night alone aftershow in new york city and Prince even scolded both d'angelo and questlove on their lacks of playing on their instruments back in 1997 so they make themselves to be more than what they really are.....

Questlove says he is opening for Prince at the Curacao show. I assume Prince would have approved this? If so, he doesn't appear to dislike Questlove as much as a lot of you do.

I agree that Quest could tone down his ego at times, but I am surprised at the level of hate he is drawing from some orgers.

?Questlove is doing a disservice to himself. At some point, as an artist you have to move beyond fanboyism. Prince grew up admiring and borrowing from James Brown and Sly Stone, but eventually surpassed what they were doing. And later he bought Larry Graham and Maceo Parker into his camp on his terms. He did the same with George Clinton, Mavis Saples, and Chaka Khan. It's like Prince was saying, "I love you guys. You inspired me, but I'm the best now. And you're in my world."

?uestlove, seems content with kissing Princes feet thus conceding that he will never be Prince's equal or better.
