Prince Puts Dave Chappelle on Cover of New Single The "Purple Rain" singer posted a photo of the comedian for his song "Breakfast Can Wait."Now that Prince has created a twitter account under @3rdeyegirl, he's got jokes. The Grammy-winning star tweeted on Friday a photo of Dave Chappelle as himself carrying a plate of pancakes for his new single "Breakfast Can Wait", along with links to his websites and a quick preview to the song. PHOTOS: 40 Years of the A...sic Awards Chappelle, who starred in Comedy Central's Chappelle's Show, impersonated Prince in 2004, and now, it looks like His Purple Majesty is returning the favor. Prince announced his return to the Twittersphere on Aug. 13 by posting, "PRINCE'S 1ST TWEET... TESTING 1, 2..." Check out Prince's tweet and a preview of the song below.

No. Don't believe anything that some journalist writes.
Prince sells songs on his website. But without any promotion, delivering it to radio stations, etc. I wouldn't call it a single. It's just a song that can be bought on his website. |
