It´s funny how Americans, and especially African-Americans, love Phil Collins, yet his own people detest and ridicule him at every opportunity. It´s no wonder that he lives in Switzerland now.
I read an interview the other day and during the interview (where the interviewer was, again, trying to make fun of Phil), Phil mentions that rapper Ice-T considers him one of his favorite musicians on this planet. Many Hip Hop heads love Phil Collins and consider him a very cool artist, whereas many British journalists constantly ridicule him.
This song above is part of the GTA V soundtrack and can be heard very often during the game. Phil Collins´ music has been part of at least three GTA games so far (GTA Vice City, GTA IV and GTA V) and Phil played himself in GTA Vice City.
I´m not really a fan of Phil and I find it weird that he left Britain when the Labour Party was elected but I think he comes across as a very nice guy and he is definitely a very talented drummer and musician who has written some catchy songs.

Geez that's very sad  . That his own does that to him. Damn .Phil Collins is one of the best. Genesis. It's great music . My aunt Carolyn got me into Genesis. Phil Collins. At a young age. I'm a black chick too  . I love it. Yes. We do love it. We sample Phil Collins and Genesis enough . As long as the original composers/artists get proper credit. And the artists. Sampling. Does'nt bucher the original song. I'm all for it. Cause let's face it. Once and for all. Sampling ain't going no where. It makes the original shine again. Gives it life again. Gives a chance. For those. Who. Don't cross. Into other music genre's. To hear something differant. Just because society says. Your this or that. You should listen to this type of music only.
I never forget when gansta paradise by coolio came out. My mommy got out Stevie Wonder on vinyl.And. Played Pastime Paradise for me. From. Songs In The Key Of Life .
