I had a listen to it finally! after he was on That Metal Show promoting it.

I was suprised at how talented this guy is! he is a pretty good musician and it shows on the album.

You know i used to think he had an awful voice... till i got big into the blues and realize he has a used, bluesy snarl that i grew to like.

Hey Guns, I could see how you might not dig his voice at first. It takes some getting used to lol. He is so underrated as an artist though. He's a multi instrumentalist. There's not much sax on this new album but he play that too.
