The first line of the chorus lifting this phrase irks me a little.

I am relieved that it isn't another fast-tempo lead single a la Gaga or her last album.

The song was co-written with Max Martin, Dr. Luke and that adorable weirdo called Bonnie McKee. cool

Bonnie's new single is better than Roar imo.

Bonnie...she's nastay! (Co-wrote some of the smashes that Katy had like California Gurls.)

It's ok, although some parts sound very childish

Oh my, I drool over that kiiler body, but "Roar" is not up to her usual standards even if it cracks the Top 10.

Hate it lol Then again, I hated "California Girls" and that went to #1...I'm sure this will sadly be a hit.

Katy's only drawback is that she has no booty. sad But she does have beautiful breasts and a waistline. nod

It sounds like a mashup of Pat Wilson "Bop Girl" and Jay-Z "Empire State Of Mind".

Is it too late for her label to change the song title to something more irrefutable, like "Bore"?
