even Vainandy would like this a cool, breezy retro-disco jam!! Just what we need!! This is the type of song that Jamiroquai would have done.I love it!!!

Speaking of, where the hell is he? He must be hiding out in the back of a wrecka store looking for some more funk and disco albums. Don't laugh at my funk

I like this (Ooo La La), but it kinda pisses me off.
I was listening to Jamiroqui today...and Robin, JT, Daft Punk all came into mind. Was Jamiroqui ahead of their time??
I don't think Jamiroqui got the attention these folks are getting for doing the same style of music, that just so happens to be close to a decade old. I can always go back to Jamiroqui, I just enjoy Robin for the moment, but will I revisit Robin 5/10 years from now? There is always time for JayKay!!

^^I agree,Jamiroquai was doing the whole retro/disco/funk thing long before it became the "in" thing to do and now it seems that alot of others are jumping on that bandwagon. But that's cool...R&B needs to go more in that direction.Still,it would be nice to see Jamiroquai come back and get more recognition for their own efforts.

It's still a better cover than Robin's new album. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I love it! The whole song and vocals sound very Michael Jackson like too! “The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously.”

Whatever happened to the rest of my life. I would love to hear it on the radio.

It is track 8.
It is getting some play, but Blurred Lines is the hit right now. I believe the original plan was to send Blurred Lines to mainstream radio and send "Rest of My Life" to Urban AC, but Urban AC is playing "Blurred Lines" now (without the rap on most stations). **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I'm digging tracks 3-5; 7-10.... Seems like an overall good album. I love how he has more fast paced, feel good songs than slow ones. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I think "Ooo La La" should be the second single.I'd save "Rest Of My Life" for later. The cool thing is,this album is filled with potential singles."Give It To You" seems like a strong contender, too.

I'm with you. "Ooo La La" should definitely be the second single. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Finally found time to spin the whole leaked album. Thicke has produced another winner. "Give It 2 U" is the weakest track to my ears, but I don't hate it. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I think "Give It 2 U" could be a major hit in the clubs.

really diggin' the retro-disco sound of this tune.

Ok, so now we're doing the whole retro disco, Michael Jackson's Off the Wall sound that Justin Timberlake was doing 5 years ago. These artists need to start expanding their influences. How about taking some jazz funk of Bernard Wright, and mixing it with the melodies of Steely Dan, and the pop sensibilties of The Cars. There is a long history of eras and artists to borrow ideas from. Other than that, it's an ok track.

I'm thrilled with the retro-disco thing. It's refreshing to hear. For far too long,R&B has been riding on the hip-hop bandwagon. We needed a return to the fun, carefree grooves of the late 70s disco era.

You guys wouldn't believe how many times I've listened to this song.....and the CD hasn't even been released yet!

okay, I dig
I picked up the CD on Saturday ....and just now noticed that my version has only 10 tracks while the US version obviously has 14? WTF
[Edited 7/29/13 4:48am] Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

You bought the regular version of the CD. Here in the US,there is a 16-track "deluxe version" that is only available at Target stores.I don't know if you have Target in your area?
