Love her music/Too long between discs, and lately kinda bloated. I wish she would just do a standard pop single again. confused

Its not so much a love/Hate relationship than it is a satisfied/somewhat unsatisfied relationship.

Anyway there's a few.

Metallica.

First five albums are classic but since 1994, they've mainly released stale and boring music and probably don't deserve the kings of metal title. Also kirk Hammett and Lars Ulrich are probably 2 of the most overrated musicians in music(IMO). Regardless, Death Magnetic was a pretty good album.

Roxy Music.

Extremely creative and talented but if I'm not in the mood, Bryan Ferry's voice kinda irks me. Considering that he does have a good voice, i don't know why.

Voivod.

I'm a big Voivod fan and i love that Voivod 'sound' but the band has constantly had shitty production on its albums. Plus snake's(singer) voice kinda sucks.

Shame though because Voivod can compete with any of their old school metal peers(metallica, slayer, Celtic frost, megadeth etc).

Prince.

No doubt about, it our man Prince is in the top 5 of musicians that i love, period. Its just i wish he would release more challenging(complex ?) music.

What im trying to say is a lot of Prince's recent output just sound so familiar, by the(his) books, and is stuff that he can do in his sleep.

What i would say to the man is challenge his audience, we can take it.

Stymie

Only Prince. He is the template for me not wanting to know anything about a performer's personal life.

Javi

Bruce Springsteen. I've never been able to decide if I love or hate his music. 25 years since listening to him the first time, nothing has changed. biggrin

Prince - just give us the music. We love it. We love you. We will pay you for it!!!!!

Madonna - I'm worth the wait, I'm worth the money (her last few albums beg to differ)

Liz Phair - some genius, some complete and utter shite
