I just saw a video of this and couldn't understand what was going on. The guys (Tank, Tyrese & Ginuine) vocally sound great but something is seriously off about Ginuwine? Is he either high or does he have a neurological disorder? Also towards the end of the performance, Tyrese starts plugging their album while he's still singing the song! What a mess.

I kinda actually dig this vocal. But, Ginuwine??? I believe he said he had problems with drugs in the past and was even suicidal at one point. Based on what I see here, something still ain't right with the boy.

Actually when he pulled it together briefly. He sounded better than all of them!...My prayers are with him. He has had a rough life..

That's the strange thing about it. He actually sounds great. I didn't know he had a rough time in life or problems with drugs. Wow that's scary. I wonder what Tyrese & Tank thought? I hope he can get himself togther because that was kind of frightning.

Ginuwine's daddy sadly committed suicide! It was at the peak of his popularity & fame. Then his mother died of cancer shortly afterwards... Ginuwine turned to drugs to drown his pain. He became suicidal himself & started doing other "things". He is fighting some heavy demons within.

His career was so promising. Then he fell out with Timbaland. Who he felt gave his hits to Timberlake. He feels that should be him now, not Justin.

Wow Clearly Ginuwine was checked out through the whole entire performance. He sat there for 3 straight minutes in a daze...sung for 1 minute then went right back to his daze. Oh goodness, homie doesn't look well. He may have sounded pretty good, that is when his verse came up, but clearly either he was having an extremely bad day or he's really going through it. Perhaps he's checked out of the group, who knows. But Tyrese at the end promoting the album while still singing was trifling as hell!

I have a couple of his CDs and I wasn't impressed by either one of them. I agree, I think he has a very good voice. But, from what I've heard, alot of the song choices on his albums didn't really compliment his voice. But, I realize what kind of audience he was targeting and, unfortunately, you don't need quality songs to capture that audience.

Singers Ginuwine, Tank and Tyrese have joined forces to create the R&B trio TGT, and although they each have something great to bring to the table, their performance on WLNY's The Couch was, um, a little awkward.

While performing their track "I Need," it seemed as though Ginuwine was just out of it, and people noticed, which caused the three fellas to explain what happened (and crack some jokes).

During an interview with World Star Hip Hop, Ginuwine addressed his excessive blinking by saying, "Aye, man. It was six o'clock in the morning and I popped something but it wasn't no damn molly [a term used for ecstasy]! I popped a damn 5-hour Energy drink and I didn't think it would do that to me."

Although Tyrese admitted he was actually mad after the performance, the trio all laughed at the entire situation and took the jokes to Twitter.

"Obviously I need eye drops lololol," Ginuwine wrote . "Ohhhh wweeee lololol...I need to take two more since I'm poppn now lololololololol what insanity...I'm going to always perform in the morning so I can blink blink blink blink blink...Sometimes you gotta laugh at yourself own it just to let yah know tho thts never been in my life so form what ever opinion u hav GROWN."

If Ginuwine claims his behavior were the effects from the energy drink, then I guess we have to take him for his word. But, if he really was high off of drugs, I doubt very seriously if he would publicly admit to it.

No we don't. I smell bullshit. I'm not saying I think he was high, but I don't believe for a second that some 5-hour energy drink made him act like DeVante Swing during a live group performance.

5 Hour Energy? If he says so. He had energy alright but it wasn't from an energy drink. I will however give him a very very small benefit of the doubt. I heard that 5 Hour Energy has certain side effects for some people including involuntary shaking but it's the music business and you know how that works.

They did another song on a tv show a few months ago and he looked like he didn't even want to be there. They better keep together because the album isn't even out yet.

Ginuwine actually missed a lot of verses in that song! He was suppose to sing the first verse. That is why Tyrese said " Tank come on" and shot him the look of death. Still he needs to be more professional if he wants the group to work. The problem is everyone wants to be a lead singer instead of background singer in this group.That is not going to work with all the egos..

Well, I was trying to give the brotha the benefit of the doubt. Seriously, I know so many people who take those energy drinks like 5-Hour Energy and Monster and they are bouncing off the walls. It's like they can't control themselves. Yet, when I drink them, they have absolutely no effect on my energy level whatsoever. If 5 Hour Energy has that kind of effect on him, he needs to stay away from it.

I don't really buy his jive-time story either. Like I said, most singers who are drug addicts are not going to admit to performing under the influence, especially if they are attempting a comeback and have new product on the market.

Oh definitely. I wasn't saying to imply that the other two can't sing although i'm not

a Ginuwine fan. I actually like Tank. I was implying that since there wasn't much cohesion

during the performance they probably should have just let one guy sing lead and Tyrese

seems to have the strongest voice.

Obviously though they recorded the track with all 3 singing lead.
