I was the BIGGEST Missy Elliott fan back in the 90s and I loved her work in the very early 2000s. Does anyone else here feel that this woman is incredibly UNDERRATED! Honestly, I put her in the top 5 artists male or female in the history of Hip-Hop/Contemporary R&B. Listen to those albums from "Supa Dupa Fly" to "She's A Bitch" to "Miss E... So Addictive".... I mean what chick you know in Hip-Hop (or music in general for that matter) that wasn't looking like a skinny ass Vogue model yet had THAT much TALENT producing, writing, singing, rapping, etc. all her own shit ever since her debut album! In addition to that, her stuff is truly avant-garde and experimental, but it has total mass appeal. Only person I can think of that did that much is Prince himself. Missy has defied every stereotype about female artists. She is among the very best 2 me. What do yall think of her?

I hardly listen to rap, but I can't go wrong with Missy. I agree she is underrated. Some folks don't even know she wrote for Aalyiah, Jodeci, and Whitney Houston.

I told Missy she was just as talented as the late Teena Marie & we need her back. She was touched!
