An absolutely FLAWLESS vocal performance!!!

It amazes me how today on these music award shows, they place such a high concentration on the stage props and choreography, and the singer lip-syching. And if they do dare sing live, it's usually shakey. Oh, those were the days when there were very little props and an artist could just come on the stage and sing their hearts out! The young singers of today need to study performances like this one to see what a real singing artist is supposed to do.

Totally agree.. Wish shows woudl get back to real, LIVE music performances.

But....... 1) What is the deal with the BG singers??? Maybe this goes to show that white people can sing "black" music too I mean I'm listening on a computer now but they sound kind of like the original song, so I guess they were given the proper arrangement. But they look so weird!

2) Why did Stephanie shortcut the ad libs at the end? The "never kneww-oooo-oooo-ooooo's" are a signature of that song (I hate when they cut it off on the radio) and she kind of shrotened them to a little yodel here
