Greg Sage is the founder,Guitarist and primarily member of the influential Portland Oregon band The Wipers.

The Wipers were formed in 1977 and released 10 albums. They were a major influence on Pacific Northwest(USA) bands such as Nirvanna, The Melvins and Alice In Chains.

BEAUREGARDE was a semi famous Pacific Northwest wrestler/musician that wrestled from 1963 to the early 1970's. A teenage Greg Sage was a wrestling fan and fan of BEAUREGARDE'S wrestling and stage antics in particular. Well one day while Greg was playing guitar in a recording studio BEAUREGARDE happened to walk in and was impressed by his guitar playing. BEAUREGARDE was in the process of recording a album and asked the 17 year old Greg to play guitar on it.


Greg said yes and the rest is history...

I know it kinda sounds like a train wreck but the songs not that bad. Actually its pretty good.
