I actually like Stanley Clarke's solo work better than his work with Return To Forever. Tony Williams' drumming on "Lopsy Lu" with the closed hi-hats is absolutely funky. Prince actually played killer versions of "Lopsy Lu" where he damn near played Clark's bass' parts note for note.

Prince can play bass but he's nowhere near Stanley Clarke.
