I don't remember this extended version. I just have the one on the album. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Just a question to all the Jermaine fans here. I own Let's Get Serious. Is Jermaine Jackson, the 1984 album with the duet with Michael "Tell Me I'm Not Dreaming" as good as Serious? Would you highly recommend it?

^^You can sample it yourself. These are all of the songs on the album: You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. Actually, I'm reading now Jermaine's book on Michael, that's the reason of my growing interest in him.
By the way, I didn't know he'd recorded a song directly dedicated to Katherine.

I read that. The part that was most interesting to me is when he was discussing their tutor Rose Fine. He also has a song about his siblings I'm My Brother's Keeper from 1981. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
