It plays in LA tonight with a live show by the band. And it is sold out. DAMN IT!
I'm tryin to make some calls.
The band is pretty awesome, I heard the record when Drag City put it out years ago and was amazed. It's a really good record but also years ahead of its time.

The movie is now available On Demand. I watched it Saturday night and it was really good.
Wish I could have seen the screening & live show; hopefully they'll come back to LA for a third round and that night, I'll be able to make it. The film includes footage of the new lineup and they are sounding pretty hot. It also mentions they are working on new music so, anything seems possible.
But really part of the reason I would have wanted to be there in person was to cheer those guys on, personally, because I relate to that story. If they're selling out all their shows now, it sounds like they have plenty of support.
