How would you rate Bret Michaels as a singer?

Average, to me. His singing voice is the same as his talking voice.

Loved poison in 80's & 90's.
Was my fav hair band. Like a lot of artist they live in the past & don't challenge there audience.

Poison is the only hair metal band who's made songs I like. Michaels is a terrible singer though, no question about it. 2-3.5/10

If we're talking about the metal genre known as pop metal, Bret Michaels was and still is a better vocalist than most of those other MFers from his era.

I would say it' quite average. I remember my friend saying he has no range what so ever. It's kind of true but for his music I guess it works. I love the 2nd Poison album, Open Up & Say Ah...
