R&B Divas Question: Nikki vs Sylena Who is right or wrong in the Nikki vs Sylena issue? I think it is Nikki. If so, what the hell is her problem? [Edited 6/6/13 13:31pm]

I could not care less about all this low-rent, manufactured, faux soap opera drama. I just want a new Nicci Gilbert CD. CAN SOMEBODY MAKE THIS HAPPEN ALREADY?!?! DAMN!!!

It seems whenever I tune in Nikki is playing the victim drama queen. Don't laugh at my funk

Nikki is controlling. She wants everyone to see things her way and doesn't care to understand where anyone else is coming from. She seems a bit childish at times. surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water
I ain't felt this way in years...

This.
She doesn't get all her facts straight first before confronting folks and even before she can get to the confronting part, she's visiting other cast member's at their home trying to get them "on her side". She's a very ridiculous person.
I get that the "powers who be" have thrown this conflict in so that there can be a "drama" factor in the show but honestly, it's making me not really want to tune in. The conflict is what makes the show boring. I enjoy the episodes much better when they are rehearsing and performing on shows. IMO, Angie and Latocha aren't needed on the show. And why did Angie join this anyway? Her portrayal as a "mother hen" type is extremely annoying. Latocha is clearly using the show as a vehicle to kick off (or revive) her solo career...that along with constantly bringing up the demise Xscape, which no one cares about. Even though it may have seemed like his response was cold as ice, Jermaine Dupri's reaction to her question about her career was an honest one. She should take heed, regroup, and take her music into another direction. No one is really checking for her.

Yep. | |

wait, what exactly did Jermaine say to Latocha and who is nikki gilbert? "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
To sum it up, Jermaine basically told Latocha that her core audience is not teenagers and young adults and that she should market her music to an adult contemporary type crowd. Otherwise, she shouldn't get her hopes up too high. Nikki Gilbert was the lead singer for the girl group "Brownstone" in the '90's. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

What is the deal with Nikki?

Egotistical, vindictive and untrustworthy seems to sum it all up. Seems she's flat out lying and can't keep track of the different stories she tells. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Strange. U don't know what it takes 4 Syleena 2 NOT punch Nikki dead in her face. I'd bet $ Nikki has her lawyer just waiting in the wings in case someone punches her lights out.

Syleena's not stupid. She isn't going to waste any time or energy like that on Nikki. [Edited 6/14/13 4:22am] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I caught that as well. Very strange bunch of folks.

the only reason why I watch the show is that it's something my wife likes to watch and she includes me in with her, but on another not: I feel as if Nicci tries to be controlling and vindictive over the other ladies, especially Syleena!! Nicci is one of the older ones, so she should act better than what she does!!! I feel as if she hasn't had someone to really really really sock it to her..I am so glad that Angie is now starting to see this side of her, because I feel like sometimes, everyone is not feeling Syleena!!!! Gotta give Ms. STONE her props for stepping to her, that's something these so called DIVAS haven't done...but Nicci is all wrong, My favs are Syleena, Angie, Faith, Monifah..not a big fan of Keke either, there's some strong deep issues with her too!! feel sorry for the hubby

I caught that too! Nikki needs to see somebody because she has been full of rage and bullsh** since last season. And I think she's the real reason Brownstone broke up from the jump.

Keke is coo-coo! surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water

Yeah and her coo coo is probably what's keeping hubby happy. Don't laugh at my funk

Nicci tried to hi-jack the show and turn it into a reunion for Brownstone. The show is R&B Divas, not a Brownstone Unsung episode. She should've taken the opportunity to tour with The R&B Divas. Brownstone got up there and sounded a hot mess. Nicci's voice was weak, and one other girl was cracking and croaking. Nicci apologized for not having a voice. That's what she gets for being so evil to Syleena and Angie.

Chile this season has been a hot mess. A waste of time really. I liked the first season better where there was more singing involved. That hot mess of an event last night that Nikki put on was ridiculous. You could tell that Brownstone DID NOT REHEARSE at all. That's why they sounded so terrible...in fact they sounded like amateurs. Oh but Ms. Keke Wyatt showed up and showed out at that event! She can definitely blow and stole the show. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

This season was almost a waste of time and had little 2 no impact on their singing careers.

After this, I'm turned off to even tune into to the R&B Divas LA show. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

RIGHT! That fight at the end made no damn sense. I couldn't figure out why they all got all crazy. And I think LaTosha felt like she needed to add some drama, since she was so boring the whole season.

Latocha is kidding herself if she thinks anyone outside of Six Flags is checking for a solo album from her. Kandi is more visible thanks to RHOA and no one is doing cartwheels over her doing new music. Don't laugh at my funk

On Saturday, July 27 at 9 p.m., “Iyanla: Fix My Life” returns with five all-new episodes that will address a wide range of topics impacting people from all walks of life. In the new season, host Iyanla Vanzant travels to Atlanta, Georgia to help mend the volatile relationship between R&B recording artist and reality TV star Syleena Johnson and her mother. In other new episodes, Iyanla assists a couple on the verge of divorce because of financial hardship and freeloading family members and tackles the real story behind a mother behaving badly. *********************************************************************** Is Syleena Ghetto on that TV1 Divas show?

That fight certainly seemed scripted on many levels.

I've watched Iyanla's show since it's first season and I have to say, that I'm just about through with watching that show too. Her show probably had some scripted aspects to it, but this past season was heavily scripted and what should have been looked upon as her "giving advice" looked more like she was forcing advice instead. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

The only episode I DVR'd was the 2hr intervention with DMX. I still havent seen it. I thought it was ODD that DMX was on VH1 last year seeking Help and then he got another check by claiming to seek help from Iyanla. I'm surprised OWN would gamble with him knowing he was on another Reality show looking for HELP..
