I can't get "Ooh La La" outta my head headbang it's like a Chic-meets-Jamiroquai groove.Very retro and 70s sounding.

Oh no, what is it like? Please tell me, it's more uptempo! sad

Yes,it's more uptempo and I'm thrilled lol I'm sick of R&B albums that are filled with boring midtempo grooves. On this album,Robin takes it straight to the dancefloor. There are a couple of slow jams here, but it's the uptempo jams that dominate.

Thank goodness for that! You're still not feeling it though?? Let me guess, tons of stupid hip hop guest features invade the entire album??

I thought Sex Therapy was a disappointment. The last album Love After War,I liked alot but my only complaint is that, there were alot of slow jams and very few uptempo jams. The main focus seemed to be on slow jams/ballads.

This time around,Robin got it right.I'm starving for some kickass uptempo jams and he delivers. You can really groove to these songs.

http://www.blurredlin.es/...=137289484 thanx for the link Ivy.

OK. I've spent a lot of time playing with... wiping the "mist" off the cover album, that's so way cool. lol About the album...

I'm feeling this and I agree with David I like the fact that's its up tempo. I'm not going to cherry pick, I'll purchase the album in its entirety. My favortie tracks are...

OOO LA LA

Get In The Way

Give It 2 U

The Good Life

Well, it was called "Love After War", so I wasn't expecting much in the way of uptempo material, (which, I would prefer)

If the CD is a wrap it should be sold right now. hammer

This hype mess can be a misss sometimes; I've been known to have plans to purchase a music, forget about and then just don't bother. lol Though in this case Soul will remind why I just have it. biggrin

I received the cd today, two days ahead of the Dutch release, weird... Anyway, it's the first album by Robin Thicke that I like, before there were some songs that I liked on each of his releases, but never an entire album. It's a lot poppier than his previous efforts, maybe that's why. It's easy to draw comparisons to 20/20 Experience with the falsetto singing and all that, but I must say I prefer JT's album because it's more "layered" for lack of a better description.

Just like the white winged dove...
