Wanna hear "Mother & Father", "Love Profusion" and "X-Static Process" from Madonna's new album? Click here!!

Oh wow!! I just heard a new song from Madonna's upcoming album!! It's called "Mother And Father" and it has just premiered on MSN.Wow!! This song is GREAT!! It has an early- 80s funk sound, like something from her first album. She sings in a weird, little girl voice but the whole thing is sooo funky.Hear it for yourself at...

http://entertainment.msn....netcal=227

And if you're not an MSN subscriber, try this link instead..

http://homepage.ntlworld....nd/maf.mp3

To hear another new song "Love Profusion",try this link...

UPDATE!!! To hear "X-Static Process",go to...

http://www.Madonnasmaterialworld.com

Actually,on this site, you can hear all three songs AND see the controversial "Amercan Life" video while you are there.

Of course,if you have the willpower that TRON,Moonbeam and Aaron have, you will wait until the CD is officially released next Tuesday (April 22).

it's a very very simple song... very 80s-like... but not much to hold MY interest... lyrics are rather personal, but what's the point? why doesn't she pray to Jesus anymore? and what's the song really about? probably doesn't matter, but neither does the music.

The song is about the death of her mother, and how she and her father coped with it.It's really about dealing with the grief and moving on...

"there was a time I was happy in my life
there was a time I believed I'd live forever
there was a time I prayed to Jesus Christ
there was a time I had a mother...it was nice"

But,on the chorus,she decides that...

"I've got to give it up
Find someone to love me
I've got to give it up
Find someone that I can care for"

Maddy has done songs like this in the past ("Promise To Try","Inside Of Me",etc),so it's obviously something that she is still struggling with. It's a great song but I think her vocals are gonna surprise people...lol...

Hollywood is single #2.

I wasn't too impressed with "Love Profusion".It's similiar to "I Deserve It" only not nearly as good. It's kinda average-sounding.Maybe I need to hear it again?

To hear a 54-second clip of "X-Static Process",go to...

www.Madonnapower.com

Go to the "Latest Media files" section and click on "X-Static Process"--Soundclip.It's poor quality but you can hear Maddy singing "I'm not myself when you're around".

I would say that "Mother And Father" is the better song.Like the song "Music",it has an early 80s funkiness to it.Her vocals are weird but charming,in a funny kinda way.

"Love Profusion" sounds kinda bland, but I do like the hook, where she keeps saying "I got you under my skin".That's kinda catchy.Maybe this song will grow on me.

What is she doing with these bad raps!!!??? I was just about to say how much i dig this song...the beat is classic! It would be a perfect song without the synthetic voice and rap. So, does every song on this record have a bad rap segment? For her sake i hope not.

As far as I know, only the title track and "Mother And Father" have raps on them.I like Maddy's rapping,it sounds like she's having fun with it.

Hmm, I like "Mother & Father", just reading the lyrics
earlier, I thought it might be very cheesy but it's a
nice track.

I always like her songs about her mother. "Mer Girl"
being the ultimate one. That was haunting. It was the
first time Madonna shocked me simply by doing something
I had never ever expected her to do and to pull it off
so haunting and so deep.

Her child like voice on M&F is annoying. The only decent part of the song is the chorus.

Can't comment on LP. (can't open a .rip file)

I just really value that whole experience of opening the CD for the first time and hearing all new music for the first time in one listen. I couldn't have it in bits and pieces- it wouldn't be as worthwhile.

If it's as you describe, I'm sure I will. I hardly read reports before albums come out, either, because I don't want my first impression tainted by reviews. I want to form my own opinions. I'm just weird like that lol.

What is she doing???

These two cuts, along with American Life and Die Another Day, this cd will sink like the Titanic.

I like Madonna, but this is weak at best. Mark my word, strong first two weeks sales and then...

can you say Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, TLC

sorry girl, i'll wait for the next one, or at least the remix

I DO think it's funny that she's ANTI download, and yet, when you download this, she's PIMPING MSN.

Corporate Whore? Oh, indeed. I'd say hell yeah.

Whatever happened to the good old days, where she was a pure artist, appearing in Penthouse...

unfortunately, i think i agree. this will be another bedtime story (as far as sales go). It'll still sell 4 million records worldwide, which is great, but maverick/time warner need a much larger hit. It's cool though, she's been here for 20 years...we can all understand a lull. Plus, when her box set comes out it will reinvigorate people and sales for American Life will pop up again.

I'm going to do the same thing. I did break down and DL the first single, but I decided before Music came out (and I'd downloaded the first single for that one) that I wasn't going to do that anymore. I was going to go back to doing it the old fasioned way.

The temptation is immense. I've had to stop myself several times from clicking on the links you've provided. But I've realized I enjoy hearing the album when I've got the whole thing, packaging and all. I don't wet myself in anticipation over these things anymore, so I can wait.

I don't wanna spoil the first-day experience woot!

Isn't it a little too early to be making predictions on how many copies it will sell? The world hasn't even heard the entire album yet. With some strong future singles, some kickass videos and the upcoming tour, anything is possible.Madonna is not in the same position as Toni Braxton and TLC,career-wise.The demand for her new CD is intense! The fact that it hasn't already leaked on-line will also insure that it sells well.

Well,I just listened to "X-Static Process" and...WOW!! This song is incredible!!! Madonna's mulit-layered vocals are really impressive on this moody ballad. It is slightly reminiscent of the old Kansas hit "Dust In The Wind".

I'm trying not to be too enthusisatic because I haven't heard the entire album yet,but based on what I heard so far, this just may be one of her best albums EVER!! So far,we have heard...

"American Life"
"Die Another Day"
"Mother And Father"
"Love Profusion"
"X-Static Process"

It's worth noting that those 5 tracks all sound totally different and each song has it's own unique quality.Even "Love Profusion" (which I didn't really like at first) has started to grow on me.I'm ecstatic about this new CD!!

i am not impressed with any song yet, unfortunately.
i got very excited with mother and father. i thought it was great...until that remedial rap. it's not even the way she raps, to be honest, it's the terrible lyrical content. when my roommates heard it they said they were embarrassed for her. I wouldn't go that far personally, but they aare pretty corny raps. Even if she s joking around in AL, she is surely not joking both times. anyway, maybe they are three weakest tracks on the record and the rest is great...i'll have to wait and see.
