I'm talking sales. Most singers will tell you the music industry is not very accommodating to singers (especially women) over 35. Again, this upcoming album could possibly be her best vocal performance ever! But, because of her age and the downward spiral of music sales in general, it is highly unlikely she will see the success she saw with her 90's albums and "Mimi".

Remember when Nippy's "I Look To You" was supposed to be her big comeback album? Even with Clive hyping it the way he did and all the promotion they put behind it, it barely received a 1x Platinum certification here in the U.S. No where near the sales of her earlier albums. It wasn't a bad album. Nothing memorable, but not bad. But, again, I think her age played a big factor in the low sales. If that had of been some 25 year old, young chick singing the exact same songs, the album probably would have been a monster hit.

Who the hell is A$AP Rocky? Mimi need to stop putting every dog and cat who can rap on her records/remixes.

I understand she does not want to "fail" commercially but part of the problem is making people wait so long for the album that they forget when it is actually time to drop.

Charts be damned, "Beautiful" is a smash. She'd be lucky to have a bigger follow-up single.
