Prince co-manages "King" (DrFunkenberry news)

found this old thread and makes you wonder if Prince discovered them here or on youtube

but I guess some of them are from MPLS so maybe Prince knew of them a while ago

been listening to several of their songs on youtube - they sound great!!

anyone gonna go to see them in L.A?

He was introduced to them long before their YouTube vids.


They've come up here a few times with minimal responses:

They'll probably get more attention from those who have to have Prince's name more firmly attached.

This is unfortunate as they are quite talented on their own. One upside to this alliance is that they may get their album released on Kobalt.

I might make it a point to try and catch one of the Monday performances.
