Always liked his material. He reminded me of Thomas Dolby.

As i said a few months back, Miami Vice knew how to use music, as a CHARACTER, no one really has "gotten it" since, easily the best choices were made for this show. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

His MV "Women Themed" compositions (from a past post) here: "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

I agree...MV hasn't been matched. NYUC came close and I did love that show too. I loved how they always ended the show with a real star peforming at the club. But as far as theme songs and perfect soundtracks, I don't think anyone has come close to MV. That show had everything right. "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack

- As for character, Bob James' "Taxi" has a good NYC vibe, an I always enjoyed the instrumental closing-credits version of "Cheers". Other fave's which imo fit a series are "Welcome Back Mr. Kotter", and "The Avengers" (strong percussive intro followed by a great orchestra). - - - I'd have to rewind these sometime. - - He's gotta solid spaceship. - [Edited 5/25/13 2:22am]
