You're really losing me with this one, Lili. This is going too far. I like to enjoy each album as a whole. Some of them may have weaker tracks (Slow Love on Sign O'the Times, but that's just me) but no, I'm not going to go into this. But if somebody else wants to, fine, be my guest.

the album as a whole, yes.
but every album has songs that you love the most, and the songs that are less loved ..
I simply suggest to express this "more-less" by the numbers.

ps My ideas for new threads ran out .. so far .... I do not like Mariah Carrey and Janet Jackson, I do not know (and not sure I want to know) most of the other artists discussed here.
I thought a new game threаd - is what this section needs. wink

I understand! I'm getting a little tired of the Mariah/Janet threads too. Maybe we need a vacation. How 'bout a little trip to St Petersburg? absolut cake martini jet
Oh and btw, have you heared Ray Charles' version of Eleanor Rigby?
Best cover versions... That could be a thread...

You're asking for a visit? wink

why St. Petersburg?
because it is one of the closest Russian cities to Amsterdam or you just like the city?
Russia is huuuuuge .... so take GPS, you do not get lost. nod

Yes, it's a great version, although I prefer the original.
I love the instrumental version of Wes Montgomery

I once saw a TV show about the city where a Russian band was playing something very familiar...it was Fred Wesley's House Party. I was amazed! So somewhere in Russia there MUST be some funky people!
And yes I also thought about taking the Transsiberia Express all the way thru your country. That would be one hell of a trip! Unfortunately, I don't speak much more Russian than "dawai" or "dassvadanya"... wink

Thanx! Sometimes the folks here in Holland forget how good life is.
In 2011 I was standing in line waiting for Prince to play in the Melkweg in Amsterdam and had a great time chatting to everybody.
Some time later, I was passing Paradiso where people were standing in line to see Within Temptation. A lot of folks just standing there all dressed in black. To me, it didn't look like they were having fun. But that's just my impression. Prince folk=good folk. And when you're travelling the world, you'll always meet some good people.
Have a good time!!!
