It’s almost like being one of the last members of Jackson 5 isn’t enough fame and success for Jermaine Jackson. The singer and producer has announced he will be spearheading a worldwide search to find 5 young and multi-talented musicians to go forth as the ‘super-mega band’ known simply as Five.

The contest will be carried out as an online reality TV series, which is apparently one of the first of its kind. Jackson will be judging video submissions from hopefuls sent in from all over the world. Once they’ve selected enough contestants, they will battle it out for one of the 5 spots right here in Australia.

In the below video you will find all the information you need. Jackson will be heavily involved in the project, offering to impart what he’s learnt over the years as being ‘Michael Jackson’s brother’ to those who make the cut.
