I wrote to Expansion the other day asking them about the prospect of remastering/reissuing "Sunburn" and "Destination: Sun" by Sun. As for Dayton and High Fashion, all sounds good and informative little accompanying booklets! Yes! "Foreplay" by Kwick TOO! THAT would be AWESOME! Cheers back at'cha, Shango! Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

I'm skipping this one because of the rips. I also skipped on Cherrelle's "Affair" because the bonus tracks are vinyl rips, which is frustrating because those remixes were originally released on CD maxi singles. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

She looks SO DAMN HOT on this CD, but w/o Flyte Tyme, it didn't have the same oomph factor as her previous three. LOVE Cherrelle. This one I wasn't feelin' a whole lot. Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

The whole "TOO" album was a vinyl rip? YIKES! I thought only the 12" bonus material were vinyl rips. I didn't think entire original albums were too. NOT a very good sign. These albums should have presented on CD aeons ago, but NO!!!! The record labels were too busy cashing in on making big loot when they should have been remastering them while the master tapes were still available!!!! HATE the recording industry's rampant b.s.! GRRRR!!!! Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

Anyone interested in these titles, good luck with the release dates. I've given up on those two Grace Jones titles from Gold Legion that were supposed to be released a year ago and still haven't been (they have yet again for the umpteenth time changed the release date, now it's August). Never understood why her 1978 album never received a U.S. CD reissue. I think it's the best album in her entire catalog. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

I would LOVE 2c the Sun catalog get remastered/reissued through Expansion (like the Dayton and High Fashion albums.) That would give us twofers of "Sunburn," "Destination: Sun," "Sun Over the Universe," "Sun: Force of Nature" and "Let There Be Sun." Anyone know if this may happen? Soulmusic Records, U.K. reissued "Wanna Make Love"/"Sun Power" earlier this year and they're SLAMMIN'! That horn section, MAN!!! Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.
