Believe it or not my parents dragged me to a Librace concert when I was about 12. I liked it because he was so flamboyantly dressed and he was amazing on the keys.
Can't wait to see the movie with Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I saw it. It was basically same as the TV movie they did years ago about their relationship. Douglas and Damon were funny as heck in it. Check it out. lol Mickey I think he was on the Batman series too. Talented dude, but sometime a cornball. He was always cool to watch on those Carson shows. I remember when he was losing all the weight and he blamed it on a watermelon diet on Carson. A couple of months later he was gone. Just Music-No Categories-Enjoy It!

Sammy Davis Jr., Dick Clark, & Bruce Lee was on Batman too. There's a local station that shows Batman reruns on Saturdays. Is it really?? I can't wait to see it. We're getting HBO installed Friday. I love me some Liberace. I've always been fascinated with his over the time flambouyance plus I heard he actually was great at his craft, so he had the goods to back it up. I love seeing thoe pics of him and MJ. That's wild!

Watched this Monday night.....WILD!!! I have to say, Michael Douglas and Matt Damon were pretty damn good. They were hilarious too. Also, Matt was pretty damn hot in this movie.

little richard was just as flamboyant as liberace and from the same persuasion/personal-partner choice in lifestyle. see, at a time in space liberace and little richard were from the same school of stage dress the movie in itself, i watched it more than once. the most redeeming quaility of the movie was the lavishness of the movie set and the liberace's stage clothing. michael douglas did a convincing job in capturing the spirit of liberace. matt damon was intense in portral of scott thornson.

i thought liberace's style was reminiscent of prince around the purple rain and UTCM period. plus the concert section at the start was just like prince, including the protoge bit
