Help! Tryin' to make an 80min best of D'angelo disc.

What has to be on there? Give me and ideal tracklist _+ sequence

He's only made two albums!!

Yes, he's only made two albums, but he's featured on more
than 2 cd's worth of material on side-projects and other
artists' albums. Some of that stuff was really great.

When the hell is he going to release his next album eh?

Is this gonna take another 5 years like it did with Voodoo
or is there some news yet on when it will be released???

I find it too hard to discriminate, I don't believe he's made a bad step be it B-Side, Colabo, Soundtrack... let alone the two studio albums, live at Jazz Cafe and numerous bootlegs.

Both D's cd's are amazing. Choose any songs to fill your 80 mins. disc. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose.

Yeah I'd go with something live...And anything U can put 2gether that has great sound U'll dig 2 the fullest...I have made a few live cds of D, and one only has like 7 live trax and it took up the whole 80mins on the cd so...I'd say Anything from Voodoo Tour first then Cafe Jazz...

Or better yet he's working on a live album so if U can wait that might B the way 2 go.

I've made one of these but I had to use the radio edits to shorten some of the songs to fit them on an 80min CD. I'll dig it up and let you know what I've got.

Dig His First Album,some off the Voodoo set&of course I dug His Live at the Cafe Album.He is living prove that you don't have to have 99 thousand Albums to Move folks&have some tight Joints.He is one of those Artists that truly IMHO has done alot more with Less.because quite a few of His Joints stick to your Musical Ribs.when He truly allows Himself to Explore other area's of His Skills watch OUT!!!
