Once Bitten Twice Shy-Vesta Williams

music I love that beat a lot , in this video she kinda reminds me of Baby girl from Bernie Mac Show. The video was stylish and funny lol But I really miss her music a lot.

Love the extended version of this, with additional vocals. Vesta was at her best when she performed ballads but the uptempo stuff on her first two albums were all great! A&M screwed up when they made her go new-jack swing on her third album.

The debut album from 1987 (88?) was great. Was lucky to find the super rare out of print cd at a used store.

I love this song music I remember hearing it in late 1986 and thinking that it was a Jam and Lewis production.I don't know why,but to me, it has their "vibe" or something.

It really does. I'm curious as to why A&M choose Jam & Lewis to work with Janet but not Vesta? Even though her first two albums were pure perfection, I think things would have turned out a lot differently with her career if Jam & Lewis would have produced her at some point. But, like she alluded to on Unsung, Janet was the label's priority. Not her.

At the very least,A&M should have had Jam and Lewis contribute a few songs to her album.Especially her third album, which really could have used a strong J&L song or two.
