Although not a household name, Grammy Winning composer Jeremy Lubbock has written, arranged and conducted with the biggest names in Music. Beginning with Joni Mitchell's "Mingus" album and Minnie Riperton's final album, "Minnie", Lubbock's arrangements caught the ears of Quincy Jones and David Foster. Soon, Jeremy had orchestrated the "E.T." album, narrated by Michael Jackson, and albums by Chicago. He then arranged "Mornin", and composed "Not Like This", for Al Jarreau's album, "Jarreau", the piece entitled "Grace" for Quincy Jones (The B-side to "We Are the World"), and pieces for Manhattan Transfer...
He as alo worked with Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Chaka Khan, Patti Austin, Josh Groban, Denice Williams, James Ingram, Patti Labelle & Michael Crawford, Pat Metheny, Neil Diamond, Jennifer Holiday, Kenny Rogers, Olivia Newton -John, Cliff Richard, Barry Manilow , and many others...
Despite working with major Pop names, Lubbock's compositions are notable for their quiet, contemplative, shifting chordal compositions, almost like tone poems... ...
