I thought he was in jail

He broke the shackles, scaled the prison walls and ran to the nearest recording studio! No. After serving two years of the 3 -year prison sentence he received for a heated confrontation with the mother of his children, Lyfe was granted an early release.

"Heated confrontation", huh? In other words, he whupped her ass.

There was no physical assault, according to the police. But he was brandishing a firearm.

I've been playing Lyfe's old albums quite a bit lately.. I always have to listen to this one more than once

I remember when this cat was pimping his first cd to people on line at BB KINGS here in NYC, i remember one night waiting to get in to the MYA "moodring" show and there was this big truck and him and some of his crew were handing out samplers etc...all reeked of weed and were the shadiest looking group ever, and trust me i have seen shady, i had to be at an instore with Damien Marley and then Julez Santana, and it dont get shadier than anyone with Juelz.
