This is the theme from the 1957 Antebellum movie, Raintree County adapted from the novel of the same name. I'll admit I'm don't have the temperament to sit through Antebellum type movies, but the song sang by Mr. Cole is absolutely beautiful.

footnote: I think a week ago Nat King Cole's lawyer Leo Branton Jr. passed away at the age of 91. Mr. Branton was successful in gaining Mr. Cole's ownership of his master recordings from Capitol Records. Of even greater significance, he was the lawyer for CA Angela Davis trial.
