Sorry Timmy he's trash. And I'm the last person to judge anyone music taste because I enjoy things that may not be the best to others, but can't co sign I tried him out last year and no cigar lmao. I have nothing against him as a person and like the way he dress but his music.. no words. His fans will tell me he is better than that so please can he do better, I understand if he's trolling and having fun but i'm pretty racist towards that when it comes to rap music. Too much trash in rap as it is. I do dig lil B song I Seen That Light though. nod

I heard it was. I've been listening to his other mixtapes. I dig the Illusions of Grandeur volumes so far.

I like his image, I watched a little bit of the lecture he gave at NYU last year months ago and decided I didn't hate him. But his music is another story. And i'm surprised that he's actually rapping on beat on the song you posted falloff Some of his beats are not bad but his actual rappng is really something else. neutral But apparently he does this on purpose, I just feel if he can rap better show it and stop the trolling. lol

Lil B admits his raps are parodies for the most part. He can get deep when he wants to. But he basically confirms he fucks around. You can tell on his mixtapes.

I just edit my post saying that. If you can do better show it and stop with the B.S. It's so much nonsense as it in Rap if you have skills show it and help improve the game. lol That's really my issue with him, i'm not saying people can't have fun but I just can't support if he does that.

CoolMF

Mixed feelings about Lil' B. I 1st heard him on 9th Wonder's Wonder Years album and that was a few years back. I think the song is called "Base For Your Face" with Lil B, Phonte, and Jean Grae. Great song and I really respected Lil' B's lyrics.

Then I started seeing all of his Worldstar stuff and I'm like "huh?". I can't get with his cadence or the way that some of his verses rhyme and some don't and I'm definately too old to appreciate his subject matter. But that 9th Wonder song was pretty solid- wish I could hear some more of that "real complex rap"!
