Do you think Tupac and Biggie have shots at getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame?

Tupac would get in faster than Biggie, I wouldn't be shocked if it never happen though. [Edited 4/30/13 16:58pm]

I think both will get in but 2Pac will get in way quicker.

It's pretty obvious. He's more praised than biggie tbh.

More acclaim. | |

Yes, I think both have a shot, but as others have said Tupac 1st, if at all. He's considered the more versatile, has the larger catalog, and is definitely more of an iconoclast compared to Biggie.

By the time they could be eligible they'll both be forgotten. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Tupac is eligible in 2017, not that far away. His first release was 1991. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Tupac's first album came out in 1991. 2016 he will be eligible. And that's only three years away.

Just like most have said in earlier posts, if the vote was based on overall popularity Tupac would get in before Biggie. H e had the looks, better talent with his acting chops and his impact on the culture. Jeux Sans Frontiers

If PE and Beatie Boyas are there, so will; Biggie and Tupac. they were like the Prince and Michael of their generation.. The fact that you asked the question makes me side eye you [Edited 5/1/13 5:29am]

Considering it is the "rock" hall of fame they would be voted in by "rock" people. Tupac will definitely get in way faster.
And considering how the audience for pure rock is dwindling every year, it seems like they will probably be pretty wide open to famous rappers in a few years. There's hardly any famous rockers to emerge in the same period, not famous enough to be HOF shoo-ins.

.......but not before NWA and Eric B & Rakim get in first. At least that is what I'm counting on.

It also helps that there are some of today's rap artists such as Kendrick Lamar that are still namechecking 2pac as one of their influences.

Tupac and Biggie will be NOMINATED when they hit the 25yr qualifying Mark and both will be inducted. Their LEGEND is still talked about by the Mainstream Media. They will be inducted BEFORE LL Cool J, Queen Latifah & Salt n Pepa..NOT fair but mark my words.....

Given that the R&RHOFcommittee have a very bad habit of making women wait a while, I wouldn't be surprise if Salt N Pepa don't get a nominate for a long while.
But I kind of disagree with you about LL. His music career that is connected to the history of Def Jam Recordings is too important for him to get looked over by 2pac that easily.

They can get in when they start letting rock groups in the rap hall of fame.

Tupac? Definitely.
Biggie? Perhaps eventually -- and, honestly, largely by virtue of his connection with Tupac. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
