Just a handful from one of my favorite Jazz composers and keyboard players, Jim Beard. For years, he's been one of the go-to players in the Jazz world, especially for musicians like Wayne Shorter, Dennis Chambers, Mike Stern, Pat Metheny, Toots Thielemans, John McLaughlin, Victor Bailey, Mike Brecker, Randy Brecker, Bob Berg, and John Scofield He's also toured as keyboardist with Steely Dan for a number of years now .....Beard manages to inject a lot of humor as well as beauty into his arrangements, compositions, and playing...

Good stuff!
I've seen him on the last couple of SD tours and with the Dukes of September. And the Wayne Shorter High Life band which we've discussed.

Seen him with Shorter, Metheny, and the Dan, but I missed the Dukes of September shows!
I think that Truly is my favorite of his albums!
I was checking him out with Stephane Huchard's group recently:

I'd have to agree with you on that one. Too bad there's not more tracks from it on The Tube.
