I think we can safely say that your taste in music hasn't changed very much. Don't worry, same for me. I like most of what you like (except MJ) plus blues and rock & roll and it's been like that for years.

Fun

Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of the older artists named here too, but I've put down who I've listened to the most in these years

Nightwish is awesome btw! Also been playing tons of Pet Shop Boys lately

2008

Michael Jackson
Prince
Tori Amos
Neil Young
RHCP

2013

Michael Jackson
Guns N Roses
Metallica
Black Sabbath / Ozzy solo
Skid Row / Sebastian Bach solo

TBH, even though I can go for months on end without listening to Prince, MJ and Tori, I consider myself a fan for life and would always rate them amongst my favourites.

Prince

Rick James

The Barkays

Cameo

Lakeside

Pretty much. I listen to other genres as well but my favorite genre is soul/funk

Five years ago:

1. Prince

2. Siouxsie & The Banshees

3. Tori Amos

4. Janet Jackson

5. Goldfrapp

My top five artists of all time today would more or less be the same, but that is a boring answer and doesn't in my opinion relate to the spirit of the thread which asks, "Which artists have gotten the most spins from you from 2008 to 2013?" My top five (in alphabetical order):

ABBA

Dum Dum Girls

Goldfrapp

Saint Etienne

Dusty Springfield

Not that is a much more interesting response. I keep these five artists' entire back catalogs on my phone so they are with me all the time. Everyone else is relegated to my mp3 player.
