Has anybody heard the new megadeth song yet? If you have what are your thoughts on it.

Ive heard it and im not really feeling the overall vibe of the song.

It seems like Dave was trying to make a radio friendly rock n roll song and even though he somewhat succeeded with the music, his voice ruins it. If he had a voice like lets say, John Bon Jovi, David Coverdale or hell, even James Hetfield then the song would be decent but as it stands now, No es bueno

He probably should retire from singing in the band and just play guitar or start using using hella effects to mask his voice.

IT'S LITERALLY CHRISTIAN METAL. THE HATERS ARE RIGHT.

IT'S ALL TRUE:

- Dave has turned into a total lamewad
- His hired guns suck balls
- He can't write lyrics for shit anymore
- He can't write aggressive speed metal music anymore
- He's an insane, rambling old conspiracy nut who was 100x more lucid when he was on smack than he is now.

Is this really the same guy that wrote Peace Sells... But Who's Buying, an album packed with sublime and aggressive guitar riffs?

I don't understand why Mustaine is trying to write commercial rock tunes. He sucked at it in the 90s, he sucks at it even harder now. Does he really think Megadeth will ever get mainstream airplay rofl?!"

The metal legends all ran out of steam decades ago. There are a few in the new genres that carry the metal torch, but as a genre, I think it's only gotten tackier over the years.

Kvelertak, Sonata Arctica and Baroness are the only bands I can think of that are making interesting, foreword thinking metal that doesn't sound forced or overproduced.

I pretty much agree with the metal legends comment.

I dig Baronesss and Kvelertak. Kvelertak should be releasing a new album any day now, if they haven't already .



Im into extreme metal as well as the other stuff so i thinks bands like Skeletonwitch, Black Blade, Goatwhore, Pelican, Gojira, Orange Goblin, Mastodon, Nile, and Isis(rip)are doing interesting stuff.




Have you heard of Arch /Matheos ? I think they make good, progressive metal.

I liked the last album a bit... but this new stuff is just meh
