He's got a great voice and could play the drums well at a very young age.

I think it's unfortunate that he has been sucked into a marketing machine, making him a popstar.

He has been very protected and now it seems he's entering the first stages to adulthood.

Kid doesn't have the opportunity to develop like the rest of us.

I do feel bad for him in that sense.

He doesn't know any better than millions of girls in love with him (without knowing him) a

nd being able to participate in adult working life as a star.

It almost would be weird if he would not grow up to become an ego maniac.

How can he become an adult with a healthy self image living the life he has?

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

If he has such a great voice, why hasn't he used it? lol

That's what happens when money signs are flashing in front of you. Yeah excuse him being not old enough to drive as a reason for it but there's 29-year-olds who sign a contract for similar reasons Bieber and his family signed.

It was a slow news day and honestly im hella surprised that this got so much coverage. The Kid is 19, hes not a scholar on the holacaust or for that matter on WW2.

Hell Im surprised that he went in the first place.

Apparently he's performing in Amsterdam now or is about to... of course a celebrity doing dumb shit is gonna make press. It's another form of distraction to get your mind off of more serious shit. Always works unfortunately.

Trust you can do a lot more fun/controversial things in Amsterdam than go spend an hour at a holocaust museum. smile

Yes, I read about it too. It's a pretty selfish and stupid thing to say. But I give DJJ and Imago credit for at least trying to figure out what Bieber must have been thinking. It's so easy to say:"he's an idiot". But still, if I were running the museum, I'd be pretty embarrassed to have this in my guestbook. Confirms all the prejudices about American youth. Thankfully, there's plenty of Americans who visit the museum and are more respectful [Edited 4/15/13 1:23am]

There will be press people following him.

"Fans" stalking him.

Users attaching themselves to him.

Just hope that he will not end up "Home Alone" like Mr. Culkin.

Is it possible Justin was being extremely clever? hmmm

From SPIN.com:

Millions of Justin Bieber Fans Now Googling Anne Frank

April 15 2013, 1:00 PM ET by Daniel Kreps

Singer's boneheaded comment is a teachable moment

Even when Justin Bieber attempts to do an admirable thing, he winds up starting a firestorm. Between stops on his current European tour, Bieber made a detour in Amsterdam to visit the Anne Frank House. After spending over an hour in the museum, Bieber jotted into the guestbook, "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber." Cue In the Aeroplane Over the Sea jokes…

After the museum posted Bieber's remark on their Facebook page, the Internet immediately erupted with anger toward the self-serving singer. In fact, for a time, "Anne Frank" became the No. 1 Google search term worldwide.

The only people not pissed at Bieber's comments are the ones who work at the Anne Frank House. "The Anne Frank House was pleased to welcome Justin Bieber to the Anne Frank House last Friday. We think it is very positive that he took the time and effort to visit our museum. He was very interested in the story of Anne Frank and stayed for over an hour. We hope that his visit will inspire his fans to learn more about her life and hopefully read the diary," the museum said in a statement.

Added museum spokewoman Annemarie Bekker, "He's a 19-year-old boy taking the effort to come and see the museum, and we'd like to point that out, and I think it's quite innocent what he put down." To Bieber's credit, as anyone who has visited the Anne Frank House knows, Frank — like any teenage girl that age — had a fascination with movie magazines and the gossip columns of her era, and her wall was filled with photos of then-Hollywood celebrities. It was likely that aspect of the house that Bieber — no stranger to being plastered on girls' bedroom walls — most connected with. His comment was a little self-obsessed but everyone reacts differently after confronting the atrocities of the Holocaust. Had Bieber simply followed the other 99.9% of Anne Frank House tourists who immediately followed up that emotional experience by gouging themselves at that famous Pancake House down the street, this wouldn't be a controversy.

^You know Whoopi Goldberg on The View yesteday said the same thing. I give the kid some credit, like I said earlier very few 19 year olds specially one thats a superstar would even bother going to this and spending an hour learning bout the holocaust. Most would be smoking weed and partying.

A lot of people are jealous and want to hate on him no matter what he does.
