Anne Frank a Belieber?

Just wanted to share this one.

Justin Bieber was in The Netherlands and did all the obliged visits.

So, he also visited the Anne Frank house.

And he wrote in the guestbook that he hoped that Anne Frank would have been a Belieber eek eek

I know he's just a young kid.

Who never will have the opportunity to make mistakes and forget about it.

Because the world media just won't allow him that space.

So, apology in advance.

But that is a pretty stupid thing to write in the guestbook.

And of course, just like most stars in Holland,

he showed up almost 1,5 hour to late at his concert.

Why do all popstars do that?

Smoke a joint after you have done your job!

Do your concert first.

Pffffff

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

He's really just one of the most vile shitheads to come down the celebrity pike in a while. I can't wait until life Leif Garretts him into obscurity.

highfive

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I think he's being punished for being young (and privileaged). He can't possibly not make gaffes at this age.

Lest we forget, at just a tiny bit older, Eddie Murphy was making gay/AIDs jokes and being rewarded for it. He's still considered one of the greatest comedians of all time, and has said far far worse things.

I'm no Beiber fan, but it seems we punish the youth. We give them careers (like Britney), and seem to take some delight in watching them screw up (And at that age, of course they do).

Uh, I actually remember Eddie getting ratted on by certain forms of people for those comments. It may seem like he didn't, but he told it on Raw that people attacked him for it. That said, it took him years to say that he was sorry for the jokes. He credited being "young and dumb" for it.

He was ratted on mostly be the gay community.

The media and press mostly gave him a free pass.

Barbara Walters didn't even lay into him.
He got off pretty light compared to the scrutiny kids today are under.

I'm surprised they didn't try to paint Bieber as an anti-semite.

He still got ratted on but to keep it on topic, I think the reason Bieber got more folks mad at him was because of what happened with Anne and the Holocaust and all of that. Plus we live in a media where if you say one thing offensive, that could destroy your career.

It was a slow news day and honestly im hella surprised that this got so much coverage. The Kid is 19, hes not a scholar on the holacaust or for that matter on WW2.

Hell Im surprised that he went in the first place.

Apparently he's performing in Amsterdam now or is about to... of course a celebrity doing dumb shit is gonna make press. It's another form of distraction to get your mind off of more serious shit. Always works unfortunately.

Yes, I read about it too. It's a pretty selfish and stupid thing to say. But I give DJJ and Imago credit for at least trying to figure out what Bieber must have been thinking. It's so easy to say:"he's an idiot".
But still, if I were running the museum, I'd be pretty embarrassed to have this in my guestbook. Confirms all the prejudices about American youth. Thankfully, there's plenty of Americans who visit the museum and are more respectful

How old was Anne Frank when she wrote in her diary? She would have been the right age, say she had lived a regular life in the present, it may not have been a poignant tale of human hopefulness, joy and tragedy but instead a generic preteen diary full of bieber fever or one direction swooning that nobody ever read.
I'm the mistake you wanna make

that's the problem with teenage pop stars: not only their music stinks, they also vomit nonsense when they open their mouths

that said, I HATE A LOT MORE the simpletons who buy his music, stupid pre-teen girls

and that gif isn't remotely funny... i think the fact that people think it is, says more about society than what some young dude wrote in a guestbook

eek

What makes you say that? I am absolutely not a fan and can´t stand his music and attitude but, from what I can tell, he paid his dues and made it from a talented young street musician to the top of the pop music world. What has he done that makes him a vile person?

I´m just curious, I don´t follow his career and know very little about him.

I don't know if he's "vile", but he sure acts like a spoiled primadonna who is taking his success way too seriously, he has built this white/pink mansion in the clouds of HappyLand thanks to a ladder made by the hard-earned money of the parents of his pre-teen fans...

he kinda reminds me of the models of Milli Vanilli, same music, same approach, and they actually BELIEVED they were good singers/songwriters (spit); I don't know if Justin is as MAD as Rob Pilatus, but he certainly is just as arrogant...Anna Frank?? give me a break ASSHOLE!

and it's funny (no, not really), how people keep using the word "talented" these days... wink

not only "talent" is an intangible, abstract, subjective thing, I also think Bieber is just another pretty face who reached superstardom because guys in a suit correctly marketed him as a teen idol for young girls who are discovering love and her sexuality...he's nothing more than the "second-coming/one guy version" of N'SYNC/BSB...
