I like it how those animated flames make it look like Axl explodes.

Cool! Looking forward to that even though it's kinda preposterous releasing a live movie and calling it Guns N' Roses. I mean, listening to that trailer speaker you'd think you'd get a Guns N' Roses movie.

It's about time! GNR have consistantly been one of the best and most consistant touring bands of the last 5 years, regularly clocking in 3 hour plus shows night after night.

Will be great to have a DVD. Here's the setlist for anyone who's interested:

Chinese Democracy

Welcome to the Jungle

It's So Easy

Mr. Brownstone

Estranged

Rocket Queen

Richard Fortus Guitar Solo (Blacklight Jesus of Transylvania)

Live and Let Die (Wings cover) (With Happy Thanksgiving)

This I Love

Better

Motivation (Tommy Stinson on lead vocals, with band introductions)

Dizzy Reed Piano Solo (No Quarter by Led Zeppelin)

Catcher In The Rye

Street of Dreams

You Could Be Mine

DJ Ashba Guitar Solo (Ballad of Death)

Sweet Child O' Mine

Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 (Pink Floyd cover) (with Axl on piano)

November Rain

Objectify (Bumblefoot on lead vocals)

Don't Cry

Civil War

The Seeker (The Who cover)

Knockin' on Heaven's Door (Bob Dylan cover)

Nightrain

Encore:

Don't Let It Bring You Down (Neil Young cover)

Used to Love Her

Patience

Paradise City

No Chinese Democracy songs on the trailer?? What's the point of creating a whole new lineup if you're only going to play songs of the old band.

^^Yeah, that's the fucked up thing about this trailer.... they try to sell it as the original Guns N' Roses.

For marketing purposes they're going to show the biggest hits and most well-known songs in the trailer, it has nothing to do with old band vs new band.

And if you take a look at the setlist, there are six Chinese Democracy songs played, plus a bunch of covers/solo spots which have nothing to do with Slash-era GNR. I do wish they would've shown the new band logo rather than the old one though.

This is Axl Rose and some other dudes. Without the other guys its not Guns n Roses. But you will be more likely to buy a Guns N Rose DVD than a Axl Rose DVD.

Those "other dudes" have been playing as GNR for a longer period of time than the original lineup were together.

Like it or not, this is Guns N Roses now. Axl owns the name, the original band disintegrated and Axl rebuilt it to what it is now. And these "other dudes" could whip the ass of Slash any day of the week!
