Just started listening to this again this week. My favorite of Pac. He wasn't the greatest lyricist but he made up for it with his passion and intensity. He is missed.
1 over Jordan...the greatest since

By far his best work , "Me Against The World" was a Hip Hop version of Marvin Gaye's What's Goin On?

2pac should have won a Grammy or 2 from this album he was getting better with every CD he put out

but "Me" was so very deep and emotional from "Shed so Many Tears" to Death Around the Corner" to Old School it was just a grown ass hip hop cd with of course "Dear Mama" being the 1 most people remember from that cd, most Hip Hop artist never put themselves out there like Pac did...."even though u was a crack fiend mama/ u always was a black queen mama/ even tho we had different daddies/ it was the same drama/ when things go wrong/ we blamed mama. With all the "so called" Gangsta rap that was out with Dr.Dre/Snoop Ice Cube even Hammer Lol and every1 tryn 2 be hard it was refreshing 2 hear something real 4 a change. Shed so many tears I still listen 2 as I am typing this. Pac was not the most lyrical of artist but his subject matter made him, lightyears ahead of most 1 dimensional artist that have been around since the early 90's .

Do yourself a favor, listen 2 this cd. Young Hip Hop heads I am talking 2 u especially bcuz there was so many deep hip hop artist around waaaaaay this waterdowned crap music with Lil Wayne Drake and Rozzay

R.I.P. 2pac and once again this cd goes HARD and always will.

I would make mention that he was extremely intelligent but I agree 100%.
