Last Album You Listened To What was the last album you listened to in full? Mine: Are You Experienced? The Jimi Hendrix Experience I'm looking for new music to listen to and thought this might be a good way.

I listened to this yesterday. I wish the 2009 & 2012 reissues of their albums were mixed in this way. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

i listened to Robyn's "Body Talk" album all the way through on a long car journey yesterday.
i never grow tired of that album. great pop songs and lots of cool lyrics.
today i listened to Prince's "One Nite Alone...." as i did the dishes i'm starting to appreciate that little album more and more as the years go by.

The Compromise Theory:
Based on my analysis, I believe the government faked the plane crash and demolished the WTC North Tower with explosives. The South Tower, in a simultaneous but unrelated plot was brought down by actual terrorists. Is it a deal?

It was released in 1999. I have the CD, but there is a vinyl version. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. I listened to John Lennon's 1970 album, Plastic Ono Band. It must be the first one he made solo. This is the one where he says "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Yoko actually doesn't have much of a role on this (credited as "WIND" ). Producer is Phil Spector but it is really stripped down and doesn't have strings or anything (Like Let It Be). The drums are hard as hell on some of these and I thought " damn I wonder who that is" - it's Ringo!! Klaus Voorman replaces Paul on bass, and John plays all guitar and piano (except Billy Preston on "God"). My favorite is "Hold On", the second track. I just found this CD used for $1.99 but it must have been remastered since. To be honest, it still sounds great.

I am very new to Jazz, i was told by a workmate to start with Kind of Blue, which i liked. Love Supreme was good as well. I say start with these two. This was the first time i listened to both Davis And Coltrane.
