That is why LeftEye didn't participate in it. In fact the version that was accepted. She didn't film most of her parts with the group. She also refused to mouth the lyrics of the song in the video...LeftEye was a very head strong woman in her short life here on earth....

it was hard to watch, but... it was real. very real. i am just glad they cut it off when they did.

That too. My heart kept beating out of my chest and then when it got to that scene, I had to look away. The screams caught me off guard though so I had to mute it next time I saw it.

This makes me wonder how many other official videos out there weren't the original ones that were shot I'd love it if some day the vaults of big record companies were just opened or hacked and it all leaked online

as for the song, yeah not a great message but many immature people go through that stage of "well if he/she does, I'mma do that too". The song is catchy though, lyrics aside, not gonna lie

The Fanmail tour was awesome!!! I remember each had their own segment...LeftEye slayed all of them... I didn't realize how gifted & talented she really was until I attended that tour...

I love this song too.

It always sounded sad to me though; mostly the horn part and T Boz's vocals.

I never thought they were advocating cheating. I just took it as a portrayal of a really sick relationship. Like "strange relationship", actually.
