I don't know if he is on this particular song, but Daryl Hall played keyboards on many early Thom Bell and Gamble & Huff productions.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I agree 1,000 precent. The Delfonics are probably my favorite soul group.

I usually listen to the song, Trying to Make a Fool of Me at least a couple times a month.

Also i think their 1999 album(Forever New) was pretty darn good and underated.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

Im trying to change my tune and not be so hard on today's music but when you hear songs like Hey love....man, they just don't make em like that anymore.. Im only 45 but i long for that 60's and 70's soul music sound.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

I agree,Joey.Today's music just can't compare to the stuff from the past! "Hey Love" is the epitome of sexy soul music.

Love this song, I grew up in a household where may Dad played heaps of Philly soul and vocal groups like this. These guys could really sing and they could move. I only wish music could go back to this stuff.

Who cares that the songs were very sugary, it was the sincerity that we all appreciated. This is fine music and I have a few of these types of jams on my Ipod, mostly several Motown compilation's and a best of the Stylistics album.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
